ConnecTico was founded by Orly Chissick and Georges Lelin Sanabria after seeing a clear gap between the local and international communities in Nosara.

Georges

Born and raised in Nosara, Costa Rica, Georges represents the incredibly skilled local workforce that often stays under-connected despite years of talent and experience. With nearly a decade of hands-on work in small moving, handyman jobs, and painting, his real passion has always been craftsmanship, engines, and building things with his hands. From motorcycles to custom projects, he loves fixing, designing, improving, and creating.

Orly

Orly fell in love with Nosara not only for its beauty, but for its people. With a background in international relations, mediation, and diplomacy, and a human-centered approach shaped through yoga and community work, she saw how many newcomers, expats, and travelers were constantly searching for trusted local help and recommendations.

A simple idea

Together, they built ConnecTico around a simple idea: everyone wants to be able to say,

"I know a guy."

The platform was made to make that experience easier, more trustworthy, and more community-driven, while helping talented locals gain more visibility and opportunities, especially during slower seasons.
