Why we created ConnecTico.

If you've ever lived in Nosara, you know the feeling. The shower stops working at 7pm on a Sunday. The AC is leaking. You scroll through three WhatsApp groups asking strangers for help. Sometimes you get lucky. Sometimes you don't.

How it started

ConnecTico was born from two people who saw the same gap from opposite sides. One of us is an international resident who arrived in Nosara and struggled to find reliable local help without depending on scattered WhatsApp recommendations. The other is a local Tico who grew up here and watched incredibly skilled friends and neighbors struggle to find consistent work, especially during low season, when work slows down but bills don't.

Why this matters

Nosara's local professionals build, repair, and care for the homes that welcome people from all over the world. Their skills often go unseen not because of a lack of talent, but because of a lack of visibility. Meanwhile, newcomers like expats, tourists, Airbnb hosts, and villa owners arrive every day needing trusted support. The bridge between these two worlds was broken.

What we built

ConnecTico is a simple bridge. No commissions. No middleman. Just clear profiles and a direct line to the person who can help. Visibility for locals. Peace of mind for newcomers. A more connected Nosara.
